Paul Wyse is an established portrait artist. Recently, he has completed successful portrait commissions of Billy Joel, pianist Leon Fleisher, and the Archbishop of Canada, among others. He is a keen observer, and records his observations faithfully in paint to capture his sitters with sincerity. Paul is featured in the 2010 season of Star Portraits, on Bravo Television. Paul is also a highly accomplished classical pianist and professor of music at S.U.N.Y. Potsdam. The discipline, creativity, and artistry necessary to achieve success in that field has prepared him well to achieve great success as a painter.
